IN THE VAULT BENEATH THIS ALTER LIE THE REMAINS OF

CHARLOTTE NEWCOME,

(A DAUGHTER OF THOMAS BRADBURY WINTER, LATE OF THIS PARISH, ESQUIRE)

THE WIFE OF THE REVEREND THOMAS NEWCOME,

PATRON AND RECTOR OF THIS CHURCH.

SHE DIED ON THE 7TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 1825,

IN THE 45TH YEAR OF HER AGE,

LEAVING TO HER HUSBAND AND TEN SURVIVING SONS AND DAUGHTERS,

THE BRIGHT EXAMPLE OF HER FAITH, HOPE, AND CHARITY.

HENRY, THE FIRST BORN OF THE ABOVE DIED AN INFANT 1808.
